GB: ksport coil overs

I just bought some miata wheels with decent KUMHO MX tires vs. the balding blizzaks I've been running since the coilovers. Man, I love this setup more every day! I am really itching to get a timed pass on my mountain run. I might try to do Pikes Peak, one weekday early in the morning, to avoid traffic. Performance wise, this setup is awesome bang for the buck, and seeing as I have 2 cars to outfit, If anyone isn't pleased with theirs, keep them in good shape, and I'll buy them for $900 shipped!

I just went out and measured my car. it seems the front is 24" and the rear was 22.5" i believe. That is on my Ground Controls, if they were stiffer i would love it.

So after reading some of Josh's research posts in other threads. Someone cross referenced part numbers, and found that just the springs in the mx3 kit are shorter.

Can I change my request to ask about swapping strut body's, to just swapping springs? If they won't. Is it possible to buy them separately?

therye 33 each from a place near me, i give up im just going there and ordering new ones tomarrow, get the 11/180's theyre 7 tall and 403lb instead of 8/420 from the 11.5/205's. if anyone could have told me the struts where the same size i wouldnt have made such a deal of it.... springs are cheap the replacement shocks arent...

Sorry guys---normally I get an email when someone posts to the thread, but not today for some reason---I was waiting for pics and spring lengths from Josh...Absolutely will ask them to change the front springs---that shouldn't be a problem on the kits arriving---hopefully only delay the shipping a day or so. When we order these kits for track cars we usually go with different rates right of the top---probably explains why the springs are shorter/the cars go low...

I'd imagine if you'd have asked Ksport if the body lengths were different, they probably could have figured it out. If you'd have given me your spring length, I could have checked it against the white car (it came back today finally) and we'd have got it sorted. I'm glad your getting what you need---put the other springs up for sale on ebay/racingjunk---if you don't sell them after a while I'll buy them back---I'm sure someone will want them in the future for something.

Just got off the phone with Eric at Ksport and he said that they had some 7" springs in stock---somewhere between 377lbs and 400lbs which he will swap on Kaleo's and Deadly sleepers kit. They do normally charge for it---he was going to see if they would do the labor for free---I think they probably will. I believe they will probably coilbind before the wheel rips the fender off, so you guys should be ok!

Hey guys just an update---talked to Ksport this morning and everything is there---they're swapping springs on the 2 kits---and all 4 kits should ship out later today. I should have tracking info later on today/Monday and I'll send it asap.

Just got my kit- it's marked as "Mazda BG GTX with Probe front lower mount"... Are there some measurements I can look for to make sure the rear lower mounts are the Probe ones as well?

I don't have a probe here at the shop, but I think I know where one is to measure the bolt hole distance---I'll see if I can get him to come by early next week and I'll throw a tape on it---other than that anyone have a probe/mx6 they can check?

fronts will bolt up, but will require some washers since they're wider at the knuckle there.

As for the rears, they'd be different. I can measure my spare rear struts later to see if you want (BG struts)
