If any ZX2 dude is interested in one of these, it should totally fit if you have an intake. The rear part of the bar contacts that resonator box thing, but it should fit otherwise.

Thanks Matt---quick update, they've all shipped out---if someone hear's from Kaleo have him contact me---I'm doing something really cool for James who orchestrated the buy---and then finally I'm waiting on these domed emblems and some 1"x5" stickers so I can send out a nice little pack with the steel logo's to everyone. I should have the rest of the stickers late next week. I'm looking forward to doing something amazing for the rear for everyone and have been following the thread/speaking with James every few days---I'm going to start working on the prototype as soon as next week. It's fricking crazy busy at the shop right now---I wish you guys were closer because I could seriously use the help---here's a couple of projects I'm working on---by the Ferdi sent me something that will blow you all away---but I should probably get his permission to post pics---but it's seriously cool. Thanks again everyone for the support!!

Sure, post away. You know, if the rear strut bar will have mounts similar to the front ones, I could machine them and probably save you a ton of time versus fabbing them.

It's pretty untypical of January---it is the Hyundai bar---the stuff has spiked/taking off...now I'm trying to keep up/manage the growth while still being able to build the projects/work on the fun stuff like for the BG chassis cars.

I wish I could work with you Jim. The commute would be a real bear though. My welding has gotten pretty good too. The last thing I did was the stainless exhaust for the Torino, and it came out really nice! Congrats on having too much business! It's a good thing! I need to get a TIG welder, and send you some samples. Maybe you could send the Jig my way, along with bent tubing, and sublet some of the welding out to ease the workload

Cannot wait to see Ferdi's work! Machined mounts sound fabulous too! Maybe machined mounts for my tall bar for the front would be possible too? Matching front and rear would be advantageous since this hatch is a Go with Show to Match type of project! Not that I don't love the first one, but for the sake of time savings for you Jim, it makes sense I think. (If Ferdi is up for it of course.) Then that would make our first batch truly a limited edition, because the newer ones would most likely have machined mounts If it's cost effective.
                    Current:

I love mine. My hatch is super tight to begin with, but even then I do notice quite a difference. For example, leaving my work parking lot, there is an off camber downhill right hand exit with a stop sign. With the limited travel of my blue/GC combo, and my new found stiffness, I actually lift one of the rear tires enough off the ground that that wheel locks up as I approach the stop sign (at less than 5mph). Before the bar, this did not happen. As for a more performance standpoint, I know that this bar helps a LOT, but have not had an opportunity to test exactly how much it's helped. At this point The hatch severely out-handles/out-stops the power level that it currently has (lacks).

I hope to get a nice cold/dry night soon, so I can attack my mountain without traffic/cyclists, so I can really test it out.

If it fit my wagon, I'm sure it would help even more, because that particular chassis is a flexi piece of ****, with more power than it knows what to do with, (especially on stock struts and springs, with bald 175/65/14's)

Have I mentioned how desperate I am to complete the KL swap in the hatch? It's gonna blow my wagon away, and it will have A/C and P/S! (Oh and a stereo you can actually hear) (plus a ton of sound proofing, and even quieter exhaust)

Not going to work without a new battery

                              OEM Mazda battery.

Edit: I got it on, had to pound the battery terminal as close to the battery as I could get it. It still touches, but it's on. I'll put a shorter battery in when I get it painted.
