Yes sir, I underestimated the desire to have something like this in the community or I would have done it a while ago---my own car has tubing/rollcage up front so it doesn't need one, but I may run one just because!!! We've almost got enough deposits now to start ordering plates from the laser cutter/material---I'll get on it first thing in the morning and I'd imagine I'll have the baseplates from the laser cutter in 7-10 days---this next week I can make all the cups/tubing so we'll be ready to assemble when they arrive. I'd say by the end of the following week we should be able to start shipping finished product. I'll keep everyone posted on this thread as things start to arrive/there's something to look at.

I'm surprised it took off as quick as it did too lol, but our only options are ebay, CS, and Ultra Racing...CS bar is the closest thing to a proper bar so far...until your strut bar monster decided to eat them all for breakfast!

Well... there is a solid Cusco available. But i don't think it's anywhere near as cool as these!

What's the weight on the double bars?

A cusco one would probably be the same price when it's shipped to north America though

Cusco sponsored me a few years back---I met with them at SEMA this year to check in and see if they planned on doing anything with the Hyundai Veloster turbo. Most of the stuff they were displaying was not really "functional"---they had alot of 3 pc bars with carbonfiber rods and the steel/aluminum stuff I saw was welded by a robotic machine or looked to be. It's going to be hard for most manufacturers to compete with the quality of a small shop and of course it's hard for most shops to compete with the price of most manufacturers. The double tube bars even out of thin wall moly are going to be pretty heavy---I didn't really get a feel for how heavy the cusco stuff was because it was bolted down on display, but I'd bet we're 2-3 times the weight of them. I'd bet we're going to be 2-3 times as rigid---maybe more like 3-5 times stiff/functional. The ultra stuff I've seen is actually pretty nice/seems functional---they just use lesser quality/grade material and the welding/fitment at the joints doesn't look quite as nice to me as the product I'm trying to create. I bet when Ultra started out there products looked better---I bet growth and having to automate/create the assembly line takes it's toll...

                      Oh, got your payment Ian-thanks!!

hey i'm broke in the terms of car part purchasing right now but here is a piece of input i don't see covered and may be an issue. brake master cylinder. you don't have one in the factory location in that mock up car. it sits higher then the intake manifold. may want to double check clearances.

Thanks for thinking of that---I do have a second car here (with the stock booster/mc) and mocked it up in that one. The bend on the back bar moves it forward in front so you can actually access the cap/add fluid without difficulty. We're actually going to put a tab there so a guy can add a brace to the MC for some addtional MC support.

I think it kinda depends on a the desire for these. If things slow down, then 10 or so. If things continue the way they have been, then say 15.

                              How much time you need?
