        its here in mtl...have seen it and its very clean...i wanted to buy only the front end without the engine but they don't want to...

            Bogus for not including the rest of the drive train, then it would be close to worth it, Why not bring the rest of the AWD stuff, idiots.... or should I say Duh.

              Bingo - that thing is worthless without the transfer case and rear end/suspension. What they have is a very expensive engine swap and possibly RHD conversion parts.

                  So I contacted him about this saying that next time bring over the rest of the AWD swap if it's available so that you might then have something worth selling.

                  This is what I heard back from him.
                  I do have the rear assembly for it which includes
                  the differential, drive axles, hubs, rotors, and
                  knuckles. I have the drive axle going from
                  transmission to the rear differential as well. I
                  will add these parts to the listings too.

                    That was probably a nice clean car with a rear fender bender or some suspension spec was slightly off meaning write-off in Japan.

                      How can the japs want to get rid of these cars????!!! They're some of the best cars made by mazda, yet they just cut them up and send them over here.....

                        um guys thats a strainge bumper for a GTX and it has the "thick" body moldings on the fender

                          I don't know about that. Manifolds look like GTX to me. And the model plate indicates BG8Z, which is GTX according to the protegefaq. My GTX front clip was BG8Z. BG8R should be GTR, again according to the protegefaq.

                          That said, this would be great for someone with a 4wd AT Protege.
