Mfactory 28 spline G-series LSD group-buy on another forum.

The guys over on the MX6 forum are putting a group buy for 28 spline Helical diffs together right now.

Looks like pricing is going to be 1% off for every unit, so 10= 10% off, 20= 20% off, etc.

Standard pricing is $705 + $30 shipping to continental US. So If we get a group of 20 together, it would be $594 shipped, 25 would be $558.75 shipped ea.

This is not my group buy, but I am in for one, and it would be ideal to get at least 20% off, so if anyone is interested in one, Head over to the MX6 forum lounge, or the forum for talking about probes.

I'm in for sure, time to register on MX6.com I guess. Anyone have any idea what Mfactory charges to ship an LSD up to Canada?

I think shipping to Canada is $70. He mentioned the cost in the mx6.com thread.

So we're at 15 units, 12 of which are high lockup. (read the thread on mx6.com for the details on high lockup)

That makes the deposits very affordable:

              std:------------------$299.61
              std w/bearings:-----$322.11
              hi:-------------------$349.61
              hi w/bearings:------$372.11

Here's hoping a few more join in before the 30th when the group buy closes... Deposits will need to be made to MFactory's paypal preferably by Dec 6, but if not, by Dec 9 at the latest.

Those deposits will drop by $3.53 every time someone joins. 6 more orders would put a high lockup WITH new bearings, below the regular Retail of the standard units without bearings. Come on people!

This group buy does include the hardware as well.

Not to derail the thread, but I thought the whole problem with the msp diff was it seperating from the ring gear and not really the diff itself. I recall reading something on probetalk about somone using the msp diff with success after putting on some ARP hardware to attach the diff to the ring gear, and it hasnt failed since...??

The first revision needed the diff welded to the ring gear. The second one people do it as a failsafe.
I also encourage welding the diff pin on either.
No hardware could prevent the diff from ringear separation issues.

Ryan, where are you finding the msp diff for $250? I know I can't afford an mfactory, being in college and all. (Wish I could, though.)
