1988 323GTX. Red and Black. 177.5k miles on chassis, 30k on very clean and strong jspec 1.8L/VJ20 BPT motor. The motor was imported by Corksport and recently installed by the PO. He ran out of space for the project so I bought it unfinished. I had Derek at Corksport completely go through the install and finish it correctly. He has given it a clean bill of health. The car runs and drives great. The BPT is bolted to the original (maybe rebuilt?) B6T tranny, which is in excellent working condition. Current performance upgrades are:
1.8L BPT motor w/VJ20 turbo
Reich Racing B6T ECU mapped to 15psi
Greddy Profec B electronic boost controller
Greddy turbo timer
Bosch blow-off valve
Boost and A/F gauges in dash
Cone style cold air intake
Tokiko struts and springs at stock ride height
TSW 15x7 wheels with good all-season 205/50/15¹s
Grant GT steering wheel
Momo pedals
Mobil 1 in the motor and Redline in the tranny and diff.
The interior is very clean with nice seats and no rips, tears or cracks all around, digital dash, power windows and doorlocks, and manual sunroof. The Profec B has been cleanly installed into the ashtray slot. The AC had to be removed for the 1.8L conversion. There is no stereo but the stock head units are included with the car.
The exterior has NO RUST in any of the body panels anywhere. There is some mild surface rust on the underside of the chassis from having previously lived in Minnesota.
There are 2 small dings in the body. One is behind the left front wheel well. This would require a fender from any ¹86-91 323 in the junkyard to fix it. I have a good used trim piece to replace the broken one. The other is under the right taillight. This one would require some minor bodywork to straighten but it's not too bad. There's also a tiny ding on the left rear quarter panel and one on the front edge of the hood. Both wings are inexcellent condition and all decals have been removed. The paint is original and has some rock chips and is a bit faded but it looks decent.
The car runs and drives excellent and pulls hard all the way up to 15psi. It has not been raced since the new motor was installed. Here¹s your chance to own one the way they should have been made with lots of the hard work already done. The car is located in Portland, Oregon and ready for you to drive home. I am asking US$4250 for it. Email me for more pics.
