I've got this '88 323 GTX with a blown motor, no turbo, and no transmission (though I might be able to get the "rebuildable" trans). And a wiring harness that's in tatters. I need to get rid of this thing. It's got a 5-point harness...

Do you have the tach and/or speedo working yet? I can throw in a '98 ZX2 with 210k miles as well if this thing is actually reliable as a daily driver. :-D

the only gauges in the car are the stock fuel gauge (which works) and a aftermarket temp gauge (which also works)

i daily drive it ever day

still need to find out why the half shaft isnt bolting up so at high speeds it shakes if you break hard, but otherwise im driving the thing all of ther place, and i havent had a single problem in about over a month or so now

but i wouldnt be able to trade for a rolling shell of a car, especailly that im starting school in dec down in illinios

Hmm. I gotta work out some issues with my Miata, get rid of this GTX, convince my girlfriend I need to spend money on *another* car, and convince my parents that I should fill up yet another spot in their driveway with yet another Ford Escort (no space for project cars at my apartment). And I'm running a LeMons race in a couple weeks ('91 Escort with a Zetec swap), so that's gonna eat some cash. If you've still got this in a couple months and all the stars align... we might be in business. Dayumn, I've always wanted an Escort wagon with any kind of swap. This is pretty badass.

Any interest in my high-mileage ZX2? It's a reliable but beat up and ugly daily driver. Mostly stock.
