    1993 protege lx CLEAN!

Ive got a 1993 mazda protege for sale it's got a 9/10 interior and a 8/10 for body and paint I've owned the car for year and a couple months, and I changed the calipers and brake pads all around the car. It has 201,xxx miles, the car turns on and drives but won't drive far I think it has a problem with the tranny idk.

It drives fine for a while but then the car won't catch till like 3000 rpms aka it won't move right away when u step on the gas until it hits 3000 rpm

Typical 4EAT smoked tranny. Will likely need a total rebuild, shops want about $1500 and up, if DIY parts are going to be about $450 but just about everything friction wise will be new and likely better than the off-the-shelf unit at a trans shop. Or just swap it over to 5 spd.
Otherwise a nice clean looking car, just about all the options I'd look for.
