selling my protege along with all the extra parts i have laying around my garage. 150003 miles as of now. its still being driven every day.
$1800 takes everything.

the good:
new tires
newer kyb gr2 struts all the way around
glass sun roof
mx3 recaro style seats reupholstered to match (mostly)
german headlights jdm side markers
jdm rear bumper and familia trunk plate
newer radiator

the bad:
headliner falling apart
holes in exhaust so it sounds horrible
passenger side window doesnt work
trunk seems to leak
i replaced the driver seat belt with a manual, but didnt get the trim
paint looks ok from a distance, but up close it looks bad


parts:
rebuilt head; its been wrapped and boxed for about 5 years
gtx turbo
turbo intake and exhust manifolds
gtx injectors
old school mazdaspeed jdm adjustable cams gears
factory service manual
full set of front and rear brakes. i believe they are brembo blanks and hawk pads. they look rusty, but are barely used.
mazda fat 5 wheels, rubber is shot.
power window regulator. cant remember what side its for....
all the parts have been sitting in my garage for years. i'm sure they all need be be re-worked.

the car runs ok. it needs to be gone through. its still used to drive about 5 hours a week. my dad drives it these days, but he's getting old and needs a more reliable car with an auto transmission.

EDIT: also the timing belt, water pump, idler and tentioner were all replaced just last november.

no rust, and one dent. its not major. i'll take a pic a little later today and post it. i managed to miss it in my initial pics. its on the drivers side door and front fender. she should make it to new york. except for the exhaust, she's sound mechanically.

Edit: pics added. i added a pic of the tires because in the photos they look older, but are really only a couple of months old.

if ya sell it ya sell it, but i kinda want it. ill think about it , it would be a nice match to my white pro lx. id have to find a different way back though, i went 80 all the way last time with a miata from sacramento..... can you get any underbody shots for me one of these days?

while talking to yunvmyegt on the phone i found that the front windshield has 4 or 5 spots where it looks like rocks hit the windshield. 2 of the spots looks like they will need to be dealt with. i'll look into it.
