    Ultimate '90 323 annnnd '93 EGT Package!

    Super swap package up for sale! '90 Mazda 323 automatic with the 1.6 with 30k original miles AND a '93 Ford Escort Gt 5 speed with 208,000 miles with tons of parts for both vehicles including (2) extra 1.8's!

    First is the super clean '90 323 base 1.6 SOHC with gtr trim (double spoiler, side skirts, intake hood,
    front bumper and grille);

    Originally a California car up until 7 years ago, absolutely zero rust and super clean interior, what you would expect for a less than 30k mile vehicle. Up until 7 years ago the car was only driven a mere few hundred or so miles per year clearly documented on AutoCheck. Since then less than 10k miles have been put on the car.

    A few blemishes are present on the car, some scratches and body imperfections, nothing out of the ordinary. Will be posting detailed pics over the course of the next week.

    Car was in an accident in 2012 and suffered damage to the passenger rear (if I'm not mistaken) quarter panel. Car was professionally repaired and there is absolutely no evidence of the accident aside from the vehicle history report and the Rebuilt Salvage brand on the title.

    Car starts right up, however, the automatic transmission is slipping. The notoriously weak transmission is making it's reputation known which made it a prime candidate for a manual swap.

    Leaks a good deal of oil, I assume the amount of time it has sat over the years has contributed to this. If you were to keep it's original drivetrain I would plan on replacing the usual seals and gaskets and a transmission rebuild/replacement would be in order. Why do that when you have a Escort GT included in the package with all the components to make it a super clean manual DOHC buggy though!

    Underbody looks like about as clean a a new car off the lot (aside from the oil leak).

    Substantial amount of excellent condition interior parts including two center consoles, gauge and vent trim, headlights and original bumper and grill.

    Matching front shock tower brace.

    Second is the '93 Ford Escort Gt 1.8 DOHC 5 speed (Parts Car)

    Approximately 208,000 miles, clear title, runs and drives surprisingly well for the mileage. Starts right up and shifts through gears well.

    Was told that the top end of the engine was rebuilt but I don't have details as to what was done or verification if anything was even done at all.

    MX3 seats, comes with original seats both sets in pretty good condition a bit dirty and normal wear

    Power moonnroof

    A box of extra parts

    Car has rust on rear wheel wells and some rusted holes on underbody. Was also told that the shock towers had rust issues which was discovered when the shocks we're recently replaced.

    Comes with two extra 1.8 DOHC's that have been sitting since the late '90s.

    I had have aquired everything over the course of the past 3 months with plans to do the drivetrain swap and eventually turbocharge the 323. I have not done any maintenance to either car during my ownership. WILL NOT PART OUT OR SEPARATE, SELLING THE COMPLETE PACKAGE. Asking $4500 obo. Located in Columbus, Ohio.

    Will be putting up on eBay soon but I wanted to give you enthusiast's first dibs. Call/text 614-316-7983. I can potentially assist in transport of some of the package for an additional cost and depending upon mileage.

    323;

        No, nothing here has ever been listed on this site besides the extra 323 interior pieces. $1500? The GTR parts on the car are worth that alone wouldn't you say?

              This car was never on this site. It was a local sale for me. I'm simply trying to sell about as clean, low mile 323 you could possibly find with desirable parts and a parts car to make it even better. This package is worth what someone will pay for it
              but $1500 is ridiculous and I think you know that. If you're going to essentially hijack my post with rhetoric and have no interest in it whatsoever, I would ask you to please move on. You're not buying it and I'm not selling it to you. Everything an interested party needs to know is in the first post, and my asking price is negotiable for a reasonable offer. Regardless what I paid for it, $500, $1500, or $4500 is honestly none of your concern, the title is in my name.

                  Once again, it's none of your business what I paid for the car. I get the feeling that you're envious of what I have to offer but you could've went about it in a different way.

                  Back to business... I'll be adding additional pics of the 323 and other items included in the sale today. The car is what it is, super clean, rust-free, with extremely low documented miles and GTR trim. You get a donor car for the drivetrain, two additional, low mile BP's, along with enough parts to fill both cars.

                  Feel free to call/text 614-316-7983 with any inquiries.

                    Kris is right & that $1500 listing is very relevant. You're stoked if the right buyer comes along, but w/ a salvaged title... Meh.

                      That's cool, but it was just a lil better way he could have gone about it as far as I'm concerned. People buy and sell everyday, and every so often with research, or just pure luck, you find a good deal. I found it, made the drive to buy it, and trailered it back home. Then I went about the task of finding a 1.8 to put in it but I ended up with two 1.8s, as well as a complete, running Escort GT with a 5 speed with everything necessary for the conversion, making it a third 1.8 in my garage.

                      Salvage title would prevent you from buying a car with less than 30k that's super clean and 30 years old with absolutely no damage or rust? I had even reduced the entire package to $3000, so I was not asking alot if money here. After having the car in my presence and going over it in it's entirely I realized I had something special here, and I'm not just going to give it away.

                      I'm going to build it anyway.
