i knew this was coming, i ordered my kit a week after smoke, he got his in a week or 2 , and mine took 2 months or more. it also came with the old first style 2" j pipe, not the new style with the rubber turbo outlet adapter. after i couldnt get ahold of him on here or on any phone number i could get off people, i finally put in a dispute with paypal. it got his attention, he blamed me doin that made him not be able to buy parts or some crap. oh well.... after i finally got it he i didnt get the fmic i ordered, he claimed he was gonna mail one out, never did, and then said he'ld send me the afm pipe hes making instead, and thats where it was left at, months ago..... but i figured if people wanna know about him before any purchase, id give my experience.....
overall, hes disorganized, hard to find, cant keep in touch, and needs some schooling on how to run a business..... oh while i think of it, i had to ask pumer to talk to him seeing he was gettin his car worked on there.... ya thanks again mike..... and i finally got a response after that.... but enough from me, who else got this treatment?

aside from the bov leaking, and the rest of that, i forgot i did get like 5 or 6 extra clamps by mistake, good thing cause smokes kit was short.....lol....

Thank you Nate, but this is not a thread to bash on. It's a thread to bring to people's attention. Steve's selling privileges are currently banned as is his vendor-ship on the site. If he continues to do business else where, that is beyond us.

Thanks for making this a public issue mods. I am glad any and all routes have been taken to move towards a solution. I do not recommend anyone to deal with steve or anything he may be invovled with, as he is still 475.00 in debt to me. Word of fair warning.

yeah still no money from him either after countless PMs and agreements and more PMs and agreements, settling on all of his terms...sent him my address at least 4 times and he responded with him doing it soon

this was a frustration of mine, NOT turboproto and our dealings, but about the forum. I hope we have ALL learned a lesson, EVERYONE admins, mods, and the rest of the users have allowed his "forum reputation" precede his current actions. just in this thread alone we can add up upwards of 1500 dollars of lost money, and 3+/- people swindled. I am not looking for a blowjob for my past efforts or an att-a-boy... "he was right all along" I dont give a f*ck. THIS reason is why I was so vocal... all those times I pissed the mods and admins off by posting about him (against rules) i did it for the guys mentioned in this post, I figured by taking a little heat I might be able to save just ONE person from dealing with him.

as for our dealings, he treated me like ****, when his ****up was what made me ask the questions that made him mad at me. When I spoke up I had EVERYONE down my throat that I was the bad guy, because he had a reputation even though no one knew him or his buisness ethic from a hole in the wall... and when all was said and done the way he was "going to make it right" was to make eric our lovely admin pay 50 of his own dollars, and take 50 more of my dollars and "swallow" 50 dollars on himself for the one pipe that i said fit like **** (that he has since modified because they ALL fit like ****). 1st off the one pipe would cost him a penny over 50 dollars to make and ship considering the quality of the materials used, and secondly he was going to take money from an innocent man, a man who was going to cough up money for something he had nothing to do with for the good of the forum... when the parts didn't even cost that much! not one time would he apologize to me, not even a bull**** "im sorry now go blow yourself"... and this is a man people keep dumping tons of money into to pay for his weed in return for nothing but an excuse for why ****s not getting done (him being in jail).

since when was JAIL a good excuse for poor business ethic????? what planet do some of you guys live on?????

well, i caught him on AIM about a week ago and he didn't really seem to care he was banned or anything. He just seemed really passive about it all...

What does Zexscort need? just the 4 wire TPS? I might have one laying around I can send him if that's what he needs.

What I need is the harness for the tps I got the throttle body and 4 wire tps but I don't have a pigtail....so steve told me he had one I sent him 10 dollars (I think it was it's been so long ago) for it and he just keeps steering clear of me...I know it's 10 bucks but still it's the point he kept tellin me he was gonna mail it tomorrow..I ordered my fmic kit off him and had no issue what so ever even talked good about fitment and stuff and still get screwed outta 10 bucks!...........glad it wasn't 475 though...guess I caught him on a good day with the fmic kit.hope he deals with this stuff
