    Oh come on, I was just outside tightening my squealing alternator belt in the dark.

    I was able to open the hood after I scraped off 2 inches of ice.

      Jho, that's pathetic. You guys can have it. If I were to try to work on a transmission anywhere below 40 degrees they'd have to overhaul my body's own transmission a.k.a my frozen ass. I've lived here too long.

        when i got in my car 40 minutes ago to drive to work it was -1* F

          Now how can that be? I just looked at the temp for Pomfret, NC and the coldest was 18 degrees. The coldest this month was 12 degrees. Is that wind chill you're talking about? Either way, it's TOO DARNED COLD! How is it you guys just don't pick up and leave! To me -1 amd +18 is the same thing. The lowest I've experineced was 17 degrees but up in Tallahassee, Florida and it was like death.

            -1 is what my digital thermometer read this morning at 5:45 AM

            you get used to it. and driving in snow is fun.
