Quick question...is it the high rpm's or the torque that kill the oil pump gears? I read on feoa that I wouldn't necessarily need billet oil pump gears until around 300hp. I'm just boosting with Vj20, Bp26 injectors, cams, and ecu. It'd definitely be added insurance...any suggestions?Last edited by Redscortgt93; 05-27-2012, 08:10 AM.

Ya stay away from aluminium crank pulleys lol.
GTR runs the stock oil pump no problem from what I gather, but does have an upgraded oil cooler. Stock (in good working order) oil pump should be fine for what the vj20 will put out.-Jack
