[WTB] G series 5sp speedo gear

Hey folks, looking for a g series speedo gear for my BP. Also interested in a Cable and a compatible MX3 gauge cluster as well, preferably in KMH. Located In Calgary, AB. Of there are those parts in a JY buy you I'd be willing to pay for your time to grab them. Thanks.

        They are the same

        1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
        1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Yeah Ryan this is for my MX3. I honestly have no idea which car this is from, just that it's a g series. I need the cable since I'm using a protege wiring harness for the engine bay, so no connection for my cluster which is electric, which is also why I'm looking for a cable driven cluster and cable.

Is their any way to distinguish which one I need by looking at the trans?

if you pick up another K8 speedo gear (which is a G series) you can retain your current electronic cluster. I can't remember tho. do you have a v6 or a 4 cyl? depending which you have. you'd only need to switch the tach from v6 to 4cyl.

                K8 speedo gear= v6 electric cluster
protege DOHC speedo gear= 4 cylinder cluster swap & associated speedo cable. (i personally recommend this route) as v6 speedo gears are notorious for dropping the plastic gear into the trans casing..... which causes a serious mess in shifting/etc

I've got an RS with a BP swap and a g series out of either an escort or protege. The trans that came with my BP had the electric speedo gear fall in which is why I'm hoping to do the mechanical cable one, just need the sensor, cable and cluster.

Ok then I can't say the connectors are the same since my car doesn't have an electronic speedo and I haven't paid much attention to them, but I haven't seen two different styles yet either, but I'd be curious to see comparison pics if anyone could post them

I always thought that there was an electric one for the g series that came with sephias and v6 mx3s, then cable driven ones with protégés and escorts. Might just be that that's the case in Canada then?

I'm pretty sure the escort ones have an electrical input on them as well. I have one just have to find it.

the electrical plug on them is not for the actual speed read-out & thus nullify's
