    Wtb vj23

Cuz I don't wanna have to make a new downpipe and screw with my goldern adapter or spend 16 bills on one o' them fancybutt borgwarner turbos (OK, maybe I DO wanna do that but don't have the money) and I have discovered that the vj23 in my red car did not survive the impact when the butthead totalled it. Colside housing cracked, impeller jammed into the side of it.
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

ouch, but for the cost an evo turbo is a HEAVY upgrade when paired to the BP. Spools better-more power at every RPM & around the same price. might be time to make a change

Whoa. I had no idea the newer turbo was that much better.

I don't know, those Borg Warner EFRs almost make me want to ditch my ridiculous setup I have in the making and run just one of those. They seem fantastic.
