GTR spindles wont work on FWD. You need an MX6/626 spindle with a GTR hub. Then, run this with Mazda 6 or MS6 rotors and calipers and you're there. Or use Protege 5 spindles/hubs with Mazda6/MS6 brakes. The difference would be that protege 5 uses much smaller bearings than the MX6/626.

Sorry for the post in a old thread... Just a quick note: I recently replaced the front hub bearing in my 90 gtx and it also uses the 74mm outer race bearing that the gtr uses. I believe the normal fwd bg uses a 70mm outer race. The package that the bearing came in stated 90-94 323 awd and 99+ 323. Hear the P5 is known as 323F. There is no such thing as a protege here. But all this got me thinking, when the bearing is the same for the awd and the later 323's, I can simply replace the hubs with the 99+ 5lug. I just need to get 4 for the front. But I'd need to put them in my hand first and take some measurements. But than I'm still stuck using the bg calipers. Maybe I'll just try to find gtr parts.Too bad I have AWD and you don't!

Call porterfield asnd ask them for my pattern, or maybe by thier hand-written label, 'sumitomo .15"'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.
