I have one in my 93 pro. Its been good to me. 140amps I beleive. I have a 10 inch sub and powering some components. It takes a beating and still is working well. It came the next day after my order. Really fast.

the mpv alternator installs the same way with the lower bolt as the mx3 one does but is an extra 20 amp. 90<110

I serioiusly believe you're putting that great of a strain on your electrical unless you're running that sub at 1 ohm. I had 1500 watts rms running and got very little light dimming. Expect a noticable power loss too if you upgrade that alt. too. If you upgrade your grounds and power from alternator to battery you'll be golden. Do that first.
