yeah. i have never had an issue with any of my pioneers. my one kenwood on the other hand had all kinds of weird problems with the buttons not working in the cold etc.

I like my current Alpine over my last Panasonic. The Panasonic had a flip down face to put in CD's and over time the contacts between the face and body became flaky. So, I replaced it with an Alpine that did not have a flip down face - like it much better. Plus, the Alpine has a rotary volume knob that I like.
pionner will take more abuse then you will ever know.
NEUMAN
I agree 100%. I've owned all kinds of head units and Pioneers are my favorite simply because they last. Clarion and Alpine process a clearer, stronger signal but they also tend to let you down after years of wear and tear.
Sorry Ryan. The head units we have sitting around are complete junk. Wish I could help you out.
maybe i got lucky and got a good unit. i got it used at a pawn shop and it hasnt let me down and i have abused the hell out of it. hell it sat unattached for 3 months while i lved up north. dirt road and all.
