thats how i did have it installed then i decided to go to this

i loved the one i saw that took the face off the factory deck, and used actuators to push the aftermarket deck forward and flip the factory face down.

caffine free pepsi.. yuck! but needless to say, looking good. there was the shifting/cd changing issue we talked about, but either than that.. stealth is the way to go

ps. come to think of it, is that really a problem in the first gen? i know my automatic shifter would have made that 100% impossible to change a cd.. not to mention a pain in the ass

but hell, sure beats my second din in my sable being EMPTY at the moment.. it looks like ****

looks cool i saw one thats like what blue was saying but it just had the face plate to the stock one and it was gutted and was just a piece of plastic basically and it popped on and off the factory HU.... that would be REALLY easy to do.. i think it was in acorrola
