Insurance replaced my extremely crappy, now stolen Jensen headunit with a Sony CDX-F5705X.... its hella tight, plays mp3s, 7-color display, etc etc. Anyway, I'm putting the new wiring harness in, and I find this red/black wire! It's not listed on my diagram. What is it?!? I suspect (and hope) that it's for illumination, since I don't have a power antenna. Any ideas? I don't wana hook it up without knowing; everything works fine without.

I figured it out. The red/black striped wire, is the illumination wire.
