amp wiring

I went out and got a 4 awg wiring kit to hook up my amp.
What Im looking for is a way to get the wire out of the cabin and into the engine bay. I looked up the previous posts on this and I know what Im looking for is a piece of rubber that I can just stab with a knife and drag the wire through.

Most likly through where the clutch should be becasue I drive auto. The thing is I have a piece of hard plastic there that might be difficult to cut with a knife. Can somone elaborate on where I should be running this. (with the spedo cable?)

you can remove the hard plasic piece where the clutch would bolt to, and then drill out a hole for the 4 guage wire. or you can use the rubber grommet right above it, or the one on the passenger side of the engine bay, down kinda low and in about 1/4 the width of the engine bay.

if you use either of the rubber grommets, you can shove a screwdriver through to punch a hole, then coat the end of the wire and the grommet with windex to lube it up. then shove the 4 guage through.
