I've been searching the net, and it's impossible to find good diretions on how to remove a double din factory unit from a Mazda Protege. Some places say you need 4 din tools to pull it? Where do you insert the keys? How do you remove it ... I see where the holes are, but how do you line up the keys and pull it? Blue - your post on that page points to the holes, but I don't know how to line up the din tools to actually pull it out...
you just need to shove the removal tool(s) straight into the holes, so they release the clip on the side. then the radio pulls right out
