It will be around $300 for the paint, primer, and clear. I might have to buy more than just the 1 gallon of paint since Im doing engine bay, door jams, under hood/trunk, etc.

Hehe. Yeah, I'll do that. I've never painted an entire car myself, but I've been researching it, and Im pretty confident I can do a good job. I've done several small projects (ie.. wheels, etc) that came out very nice, so Im not worried. I have an extra hood and set of fenders to practice on also. I can't wait.

hrm...I did a google search on that Rayflex paint Im looking at on eBay, and got mixed reviews on it. Seems to me though, that you just have to mix and spray it properly for good results. I'll probably give it a shot anyhow. I can use my extra hood as a test subject.
Oh, and that paint is a single stage kit, so i don't think I need the clear...it's already mixed with the paint.

Whatever you do, keep that hood good if it's 94 style, we'll use it to make a CF mould.
