ill have a k8 harness and ecu and vaf for sale soon. You prob wont want the ecu if your goin with the 2.5 but the harness is the same harness and the vaf that comes stock on the v6 mx3 is the exact same one from japan so its the perfect vaf if you decide to get the klze ecu.

WOOT! i'll let ya know if i go through with it. my BP05 is leaking oil and showing alot of signs of certain death @ 185k miles. so im thinking this might actualy happen

You should PM Groharlem, he knows a whole ****load about the K-series motors. I know the 2.5l Millenia's have some of the KLZE goodies like the heads and intake, but have the KLDE pistons and cams.

ok i talked to the guy. its a 93 probe GT motor. 93k miles on it. just the engine, no disty, tranny, axles anything. just the engine & the manifolds. $150 and its mine. so i figure i'll through that sucker in the garage. get a comp test done on it. replace all the seals. get some KLZE cams/intake manifold. and then hunt for a V6 mx3. i know where i can get a disty, and JITB said hes got a couple other parts that i need. so just so i know for sure heres my list of parts i need, lemme know if anything is missing:

                MX6/Probe:
                ECU
                Tranny*
                Disty
                VAF

                MX3 V6:
                Crossmember
                Shift linkage
                Motor mounts
                Wiring harness
                Axles
                tranny*

                *doesnt matter

                After market:
                clutch

Better fuel pump? or will the stock GT pump work?

Ill have mounts and harness available soon if you want. wont ask much money. the mx3 tranny i got will work for you soon and is the exact same tranny as in the probe but its gota 170,000 on it so you prob wont want it.

by cross member do you mean the subframe that goes from the front (rad support) to the rear under the motor?

if so, then they are the same for the v6 and the BP.

in the 2nd pic he posted... see where the jack is placed? That "member" there was the one that I was referring to... Anyone know for sure?

I know that there is another memeber that goes from side to side toward the back where the LCA's are I think.

They are different...and taht is the right part u are showing.. i thin kthe v6 one goes alittle more to one side or something. Because the bottom v6 motor mount is different from the bottom mount on the bp, and the 4cyl B6.

jitb37- do you have (or know someone/place that i could get it from) a 626 manual transmission? i want to track one of those down. the LSD sounds like something to hunt for

Ok guys! i've sourced just about every part that JITB37 listed. but i have a couple questions left.

#1 can anybody hook me up with a V6 tranny? preferrably a 626 with the LSD.
#2 when im hooking everything back up, will i have to change any of the connectors that go to the speedo/tach? i was talking with mazdachad and said hes gonna have to change that stuff and run a cable into the tranny. will i have to do the reverse?
#3 Does anyone has a spare KL02 VAF? i cant locate one around here.
                                #4 do i have to get a V6 mtx starter/alternator?

all i have left to source is a tranny and vaf. jitb37 i believe has the cross member and shift linkage, so the tranny/money is the only thing holding me back.
