Local importer . welll worth the 250 for the set, as they dont have any scratches and really work well for the handling.

Well I wired in 2 new circuit breakers in the carhole for the new compressor and power tools... no more blowing circuits for me! Did mean a fun day in the attic though

so those are genuine mazdaspeed strut bars for the BG? or are they for the 2nd gen and you modded them??? because i've seen a couple 2nd gens with that style bar.

got all the oil lines and what not installed... had to get a kit since the T3 has different flanges and what not. the Kit came with a 'T' that I capped off for the time being... eventually I plan to run an oil pressure gauge... so I have the room to upgrade later.

Also figured out something major.... the lower tranny subframe isnt going to work for some reason.

I have LX mounts, LX tranny.
I tried modding the GS crossmember, and that didnt work.
I tried using an LX crossmember, and that didnt work.
I bought an RS crossmember and now the LX front tranny bracket hits it. So it doesnt work either.

I am at the point where I am going to mod the front mount and weld the LX bracket to the subframe and be done. It will probably be the one that takes the most abuse under hard accelleration, so I plan to weld all sorts of steel plate & L brackets to make sure its not going anywhere.

                            ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I also welded up the SS mani. I had a local muffler shop do it... its not the prettiest, but it should work.

I wired up the RX-7 injectors... I had to get a plug kit off of eBay for it to work, but its all wired in. Right now I am waiting to get paid so I can go get some O-rings for the injectors and get the finished.

                            -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I still am unsure of exactly how I want to run my radiator and FMIC. They are 2 in too wide for the front radiator support... I am probably going to fab some brackets for the rad to sit behind the rad support (like the protege) instead of ON the lower rad support like the OEM MX-3.

Piping will be a bit longer as now the rad will sit on the drivers side, and the FMIC will be on the passenger side. I bolted it all up to get an idea of how the piping will have to run, and orders a few more bends. Once I get them in I plan on tacking them all up and getting the general shape and design laid out.

After that I shall begin making the downpipe. The people that sold me my turbo were kind enough to throw in an exhaust flange for free. 2.5 maybe too small for the T3 on high boost eventually, but for the time being it should be fine. Eventually I plan on ZE'ing the 323, and the 323 can get the 2.5 while I dump a 3in exhaust onto the MX-3 for more boost.

I know, I know..... useless w/o pics... its cold and rainy so pics will have to wait for tommrow.

sounds like you've been busy, good to hear its coming alone man!

as for the rad/intercooler set up, would the intercooler fit in the center if you modded the bumper a bit? like dont cut the outside of the bumper, just shave down the inside of the bumper the same size as your intercooler? thats what i plan on doing with my EGT bumper, its kinda hard to explain....

Yeah I have been working on it when I can, school started back though and paying for books and **** has left me broke beyond belief. I get paid wednesday and the whole paycheck has to go to bills basically.... sucks.

I say FMIC, but really its a SMIC.... I just plan on using it as a FMIC.

Its a 3.25in thick FD IC (FD installed pic ganked from the site I got the FMIC from)that I want to use the same way as the picture above, just more to the right. That way I can keep the rad and FMIC side by side and get max flow on both. I plan on using my old condensor from the AC system to hide both behind there.... you wont know I am boosted until the BOV sings.

Problem is that the FMIC is 18in long and the Rad is like 12in wide. The radiator core support on the MX is 28in wide or so.... finding that 2in is damn near impossible... I have cut some of the sheet metal, but it just isnt going to fit. So I am going to have to make brackets for the rad to sit slightly behind the support on the drivers side, and mount the FMIC on the passenger side and just get creative with the pipes.
