i'm paranoid about things going wrong, so i think EVERYTHING through
Honestly, I can understand holding off on the swap until you've got cash saved up, but if you're holding back on the swap just because you're worried about stuff, I'd just say **** it. I know if I didn't do that my car would still have a BP in it.
I guess that's me though, I work well under pressure.
I did the swap 4 days before I left for Europe...came back 4 weeks later, finished up the car in a couple of days...then drove 8+hrs to Quebec for my cousin's wedding. I wouldn't change the way I did it though...it worked out perfect!

I am the same way, but alot slower than a few days... I learn by doing... going into my project I really wasnt to sure about anything, but the more I work the more I learn. And if there is something I dont understand or know how to do, I hit up google and figure it out.
to me, the important thing is to have all the parts ready to go. I tend to let **** drag on if i have to stop and wait or get other parts to finish it up...mainly because i have another car to use...maybe i should hide my MZ3 keys to force myself to get er done!...lol
haha, im just wondering when i can start getting pieces for my swap!!!! damn snow aroundhere is driving me crazy! like i have some money saved up, but besides the motor and clutch, its going to cost me around $400 to get everything else i need...which isnt to bad
and jitb, i thought the 93 and 94 PGT was ODB1? oh well, doesnt matter, but dammit, i need a harness from one of you guys, i'm getting ripped off compared to what you paid jitb.

Totally...I'm all about taking my time. I fear my GT won't be on the road til' mid-summer now since I just bought an MP3.
Taking your time is cool too. Either way, you just gotta start!
the 93-94 is obdI, i seem to find Mx3 gs's a bit easier than 93-94 PGT's.
Yea im takin my time now o the pro noneed to rush since i bought the contour. I can feed the mod monkey for awhile. And slowly get the pro back together. but i just want to get it running again so i can see what kind of condition this motor is in. Seemed good for the 5.7 miles i got to drive it...lol
yea, i drove it to walmart about 5 miles down the street, went int he parking lot.. turned around. Went to a gas station popped the hood checked under the hood. Everthing was perfect. Than i start on my way home... and car shuts off. but i atleast got to put my foot in it those 5 miles. i was really really happy with it...and i cant wait to get to do it again.
so there was a nice difference from BP to KL eh? i cant wait to feel the difference man, 165-200hp in a 2,400lbs car should be nice
i know my EGT had probably around 145hp, and that thing was ok if it wasnt so damn loud! i think i'll still go like 2.25-2.5 exhaust, but resonate it and throw my talon TSi muffler on it
hey, i heard D323 used his mx-3 V6 axles on his BP swap...or i'm just on crack...is that possible? because the axles in my protege are like 9,000k old.
