    What's a charge pipe and where is it located?

    The worse case scenario is that a rod went ... but it's hard to break a rod on a VJ20.

    Also BPs are non intereference so don't worry, you dont have any bent valves.

      Any of the piping that connects your turbo to your throttle body are called charge pipes

              lol, did you ever redue the Timing belt? If Not thats where I would start.


              And when you turn it over does it sounds like clanking in the engine? If not then I am guessing the rod is fine.

                I'm going to try to replace the belt some time this week. I also have to replace my water pump.
