Is there a part number for the piston, and should I replace them all or just the bad one? What would be some equivlent after market pistons?

So what are you gonna do now?... you're gonna have to change that piston, and I don't think you can just buy one, unless you go the dealership.

I would get 4 new ones, maybe from a n/a bp, it will give you a little more power than the gtx ones will because of compression.

I'd replace all four... if you have some spare cash get some Wiseco 8.5:1 pistons or contact Flyin' Miata and get their 9:1 custom Wiseco's.

Keep the bearings in order and in the right rod and the rods in the right cylinder. Or you can change the bearings but keep the rods in order.

fritz360 - Were you running a GTX ECU or NA BP ECU when you detonated? Also, do you have an upgraded fuel pump?

My wideband A/F gauge shows that the NA ECU runs super rich but leans out really fast at high RPMS. You might have been too lean especially running the stock fuel pump.
