That's not a bad deal if it's in decent condition, especially if they throw in the SMIC, 4 WD tranny, and VAF. A GTR generally runs quite a bit more.
All the stock GTX motors I've seen have red plug wires. This one probably had red too at the beginning. Draw your own conclusions.
