yeah i would rater do that...i have MSD6AL and the 2step can i still use the with the MGS?
I recommend you sell the MSD ignition - it causes a lot more trouble than it's worth and it's really not needed when you can control dwell through the MS and multi spark only happens below 3k rpm.
