    vacuum is MAP. At WOT when you're not turbo it should read 100kpa. At idle it should read around 30kpa. When cranking you should see at least 70kpa or lower.

    Yes, but make sure you also have it right on the bottom sproket.

    Also make sure the map line is directly from the manifold to the MS with no other Ts in there.

      ok so you are saying 95 is tooo high for the map to be while cranking?

      ill check the timing again now......

      the vac runs right from the intake mani to the M.S. box no "T"

        the crank in on 10 and this is tha cams it looks like it could be one off.

          you're definitely off a tooth. Check that the crank is straight on as well.

            got timing on money and the map is still the same???????? the lowest it got was 92kpa
            man this thing is killing me i just want to drive it again lol
            what else can i do to lower my "kpa"?
            i can feel vac in the line to the M.S. when i try turning it over.......but i dont know

                im not getting any fuel sprayed carb clearner in the intake and it started up???? now to find out why no fuel

                  your ecu is commanding the injectors but are they opening at all? Are they clicking when cranking?

                    ok well this is where a problem i had before tha M.S. comes into play.....i was driving and the car just cut off and i found out the fuel pump was not coming on so the only way i could get the car to run was by putting a jumper wire to the white/red wire that plugs into the fuse box under tha hood. so now i still have to do tha to get 12v to my M.S........everytime i jump it i can hear the injectors clicking.....now while cranking im not sure if they are still clicking.....i have no idea why i have to jump it????????

                      Did you hit any bumps hard lately? I know that cars have a fuel pump safety switch that shuts off the fuel pump so that there is no fuel being pumped in the case of an accident. Sometimes, if you hit a bad bump hard, it will make it pop and you may just have to find the reset lever in the back of the car to activate the system again. This happened to me in my old Taurus years ago and the switch was in the trunk.

                      I am not sure if this applies to your situation, but I thought I would make the suggestion.

                          how dose the M.S. control the fuel dose it send full 12v to that fuel pump at all times?

                            Timing checks out - glad to hear.

                            The MS powers the pump relay. You should have the fuel pump wire connected to the light green wire on the main relay which is attached to the stock ECU using a bracket inside the car. You should hear the pump prime when you switch the ignition to ON.

                              I hope this isnt a common issue with fuel management systems, cuz i can say im kinda worried about switching over once I finish my build.

                                i dont hear the pump coming on at all. put volt meter on the plug at the fuel pump and i get nothing! ill check the light green wire to make sure that there is power coming from it.


                                no i dont think its common i think its just my set up lol
