megasquirt setup's?

    thanks for the offer jon i shouldn't have to much trouble i tend to pick stuff up pretty fast

    how long did it take you to tune your car to where it was drivable?

      this is what i got back from the local dyno/shop


      Sorry, but I do not. The only people I've tuned them for have had numerous megasquirt hardware failures and have switched to other systems. In the interest of tuning systems that work properly, I'm no longer tuning them.

      If you tell me what the application was I can recommend another system.

        your over thinking it. i did the same thing on my 1st set up. once you get started, and read alot on the MS forum, it will become alot easier to understand. my FE3 626GT has been running MS for over 2 years now without any issues taking abuse from a turbonetics .57 trim, and my own base tune has lasted all this time without any real issues.

        this summer i did try to find a shop that could tune it thuohg, but have had no real luck. ill probably bring the car out to chicago next year to a shp to get tuned professionally. my tune has worked all this time, but im sure it could be better in the hands of someone that has alot more experience.

          So, is megatune and megasquirt the same thing?

          I honestly I am clueless on this? Some are freeware software GUI, others are simulators etc...

            Megatune is the software, Megasquirt is the hardware.

                thats BS. ive put about 12k miles on my car with not a single MS related issue.

                    who told ya that? ive gotten alot of issues from places around here with anything mazda, let alone having them ask why , over some douche with a civic doing similar...lol.... there inst many trust worthy locals.... i mean hell look at nyspeed....lol....

                      innovative tuning the only import shop left that dose fab work in western ny

                        thats ****ty, i was gonna get jams off nyspeed but its gone, i think i may just build one its not any different then the parts i fix on amps.... cant take that long.... find 2 cheap and ill build me and you one..... i havent looked at prices in yrs...

                            yea i think that was one reason i saved my 94 harness , honestly....i always wanted to build one of these...do it so i have someone else near me for some help...lol....
