    i run a 6AL since it was left over from my truck and the ability to limit the redline to 7K on the stock ECU. I did notice an increase in gas mileage with the MSD coil (29 before, 31 after) and alittle more with the box (.5 mpg) but if you have to buy one brand new or you have issues with it and a standalone its not really worth it.

      Especially when you can run leaner than stoich and with more timing advance with a standalone and have those fuel savings back. Plus fuel overrun itself is worth it where the injectors are shut down when coasting.

        the stock ecu does that too, lex. it's outlined in the FSM.

          I thought so too (the idle switch on the TPS was a good indication) but my EGT never did with any of the ECUs I ran and popped like a mofo while coasting with the big exhaust.

                Only sensor you need to add is the intake air temperature if you want to completely remove the VAF. Aside from that the MS uses all the stock sensors.

                        VF12 @ 13psi with 460cc injectors & a Bcode AFM & i can still get 27mpg on my pissed out BP. you tell me if it works or not lol
