Worked fine in my car and Pat's...

like i said the trigger angle doesnt really matter as long as you make the timing on your ignition map match the reading on your timing light. i think mine is set at 74 or 75.

Actually, I think you do it the other way around- lock the base timing on the Haltech and adjust it physically until it lines up. But yeah, same idea.

Cool, any maps to compare with might help me learn something. Today was kinda fun, the feller at the dyno shop (carb conn, Kirkland WA) *really* knows his sh!t. He took that car form fouling the plugs so bad we had to push it on the rollers to ready to compete in 2 hours. I only wish we could get more power out of it. That damn 34mm restrictor works way too well, and I think this one in particular is no where near optimal. 187hp/219tq at the wheels @20psi, that's all I'll have to try to take it to The Man next weekend, at www.doowoprally.com.

PS but it could be worse. There was a honda that got pushed in while I was there, theft recovery, full built engine with NOS... seems the bastards who took it pushed on the nos button and left it there, and the exhaust didn't flow well enough. Got a backfire in a cylinder and pushed a (titanium, otherwise it woulda just bent) valve hard enough to *break the camshaft*

Right in front of the coldside intake where it's supposed to be but I bet the design is um less than optimal. It will get replaced, time and funds allowing.

lol. yeah, they were DSM 450s, but I bought a set of 550's soon after, and they sort of got lodged in the same bin in my brain. Still haven't got squat done as far as the haltech goes. I'm not even 100% sure which box I've got it in.
