    i don't see how its leaking when the antisall valve is installed its supposed to stay closed when not boosting and open when venting pressure

    are you talking about the coolant sensor on the head near the intake manifold?

    i got this back from mazda when i asked what my harness was from

    That harness fits the 92-94 Protege. The 92-94 Protege SOHC / 92-93 Protege DOHC uses O2 sensor part# BP0318861B9U The 94 Protege DOHC uses part# BPE118861A9U

    i did end up removing this wire from the sensor to do the 4 wire tps swap the dark green one

        Bosch directions say black is signal whitex2 heater gray is optional ground

        this is how my sensor is hooked up from engine to sensor
        red/blue-s -> blue -> black
        black -> black -> white
        black/white-s -> black -> white
        black/brown-s ->white -> grey

          wastegate is hooked up right off the bottom fitting right to the turbo compressor

          both vac sources for the bov are t into each other and ran to the back of the intake manifold

          boost source for the bov is on my charge pipe before the throttle body

            lol might have found out why i was hitting full rich and full lean my tps was not hooked up because i was missing the metal clip that holds it on but that still don't fix the running rich during warm up

            what do you guys recommend to clean the iacv out it could be sticking also how do i test it to make sure its working properly

              ok its still doing it i drives fine for about 10 min at 14-15 a/f then it starts acting up and it don't stop 10-17 back and forth when i down shift it stops doing it then it starts again

                going to be swapping out this escort gt fuel rail for the mazda rail soon as my new o-ring kit gets here fuel line is tight around the back of the manifold

                going to change out the coolant sensor close to the intake with the one from the protege and also hit up mazda for iacv gaskets and fast idle valve gaskets

                  found out that the harness is from a 94 protege lx for California emissions im wondering if this could be the cause of all my problems

                    update on problem changed the o2 sensor and idle is 14-15 most of the time sometimes it will be at 13 and go back to 14-15 i am still getting the problem where it will drop to 10 and start to run like crap and it becomes hard to drive without it trying to boost

                    also i think i have a vac leak near the intake manifold i can hear the hissing when i put my ear near the back of the engine

                      ^ I would fix that vacuum leak before I buy anything else for it!

                        i ordered the gasket for it today just waiting for it to come in

                        its getting annoying that i can drive the car for 20min and then it starts to run really rich making it to easy to spool the turbo

                          would the gtr ecu run the same as the gtx ecu with 3 wire tps and 1 wire o2 sensor i think im going to swap out the harness and see if changes anything

                          i know the California harness has an extra ground at 2H

                            update car runs way better with the protege 3 wire tb and 1 wire o2 sensor 14-15 idle and cruise still get the occasional 10 a/f drop still cant seem to find where its coming from

                            i wonder if it would have anything to do with the wastegate or the blow off valve

                              440 cc injectors

                              Hello Protege friends, I have a Pro5 and just recently got a lean code. I purchased a set of Deutchwerks 440cc injectors and a walbro fuel pump. I have the typical aftermarket set up, ... CAI, exhaust, ECU module, you know - typical! well my question is as follows. At low crusing speeds everything is fine and all seems to work in harmony but when I hit the pedal and get to about 68 mph, 5500 rpm right before the gear catches the damn engine seems to stumble. It does'nt do this under light throttle . I know that larger injectors need less time to do their job. Would I need some other engine management other then the factory ECU to properly tune the motor or is there another way around this? I know the turbo guys run these injectors. Your help much THANKED!
                              I make her say ... Oh!
