What will be the idle valve frequency for a 1992 Protege with a BP DOHC Engine?
In my case I got a GTX intake manifold with the stock GTX idle valve. But before I installed the MS3 the stock ecu was controlling the IAC just fine so I guess is the same frequency.
Looking at the Lex maps (stratifiedauto.com) the frequency is setup for 30.5Hz times 5 = 152Hz.
With the MS3 the less that I can put is 156Hz. But in that frequency when I add more duty cycle the IAC it gets very noisy so I guess that is not right.
Looking at the Miatas frequency it set to 170Hz and recent models as far as 400Hz.
I will appreciate if anyone knows the right frequency.
