I still dont see why you wouldn't run the GTX fuel rail if you have it, at least see if you put it back on if it'll run right. That right there is probably your problem, as the fuel rail might not be getting the right signals w/ the Ford B.S. So are you also using the Ford injectors? I just cant see why you would put the lower flowing injectors, also the ECU is calibrated for the higher flowing injectors>could also be part of your problem.

Oh, well. I do have a SOHC motor sitting around though, so if you do need the correct connectors, as Charles was showing you, I could send 'em for you for cheap. PM if interested. Dylan can vouch for me that I wont rip you off.

i was looking @ just cutting the two wires for the frp off of the 8 plug on the escort fuel rail but then i looked @ the brown plug that is suppose to be for the fpr and the wires on it are the same colors i was suppose to cut and wire to the frp
        green/yellow and white/red
so if i have the right wires hooked up to the fpr wtf is going on ??
but im gonna get the protege plugs and put the gtx fuel rail back on...
just dont got the damn special tool to take those circle things off the fuel lines

ok right now i got the gt fuel rail with the gtx fuel rail harness...with the gtx injectors in
as you know i had to cut both the 6 plug off the gtx fuel harness and the 8 plug off the GT 8 plug harness
i hardwired the plugs and the two left over are black/red for VICS which i taped off
and the green/yellow which went to the FPR along with a tapped white/red.
my car is still doing the same damn thing
flooding itself when i try to start the thing
i wasnt able to swap the gtx fuel rail because i dont have the special tool to take the spring loaded coupling things off the fuel lines..
i want to try the gtx fuel rail because of the fuel pressure regulator on it
there is that one gray wire i am unsure about that could maybe be causing this..
other than that i dont know WTF is up
also i just stripped my head where the spark plug goes (N)
but i can get it in pretty good..
          DAMN
the gray plug is right under the big 8 plug in this pic
