          i luv this thread.

ive bought on of these blow off valves for my 2.0 turbo , looks good but my cars running 10 psi and it refuses to give off any sound it even had a good vacume, ( vacume disconnected on pic as cant seem to get the darn thing to work) looks like i might have to get another one

anyone suggest the loudest bov yet not needing huge amounts of boost?.

the spring inside is probably too stiff.... take it apart and trim it down a bit. or buy a softer spring for it.

yeah cool thread, trimming the spring is a good idea,

theres a adjuster on the top for soft or hard, but im just trying to figure out how you know when its adjusted for softest as if u turn too much the top comes off with spring

There is a rubber o-ring that site below the top of the inside thinger. loosen the thing until it gets easy to turn, then tighten it slightly until you feel it getting harder to tighten, then its sealed and at its softest setting.

yeah will give it a try as i did adjust it out before but maybe not enough,

i seen a video with a guy whos got one on a golf gti turbo and it was working ok,

after studying the video i noticed he had the bov set just past the sealing rings as shown in picture.

Setting it past the sealing ring wont seal it and will make it leak and not work correctly.
