    Oil/water vs oil

Hi, I recently bought an old T3 form my protege supposedly out of a saab. It's an Air research T3 .42 on the cold side and I can't find any numbers on the hot side but was told it's .48. It's just the one I was looking for but it needs a rebuild

Question 1)Is there going to be a major difference in spool RPM and reliability since it's only oil cooled?

Question 2)Can I swap center sections with an oil/water cooled T3?

    Thank's for any insight.

read the article, but i'll summarize it for ya with a quote from there:

"Non water cooled turbochargers have no place in a high performance gasoline engine application and should be avoided at all costs."

and yes, you can swap the center sections. These are universal t3 units. well center sections are for sure at least.
