    folks with MBC's

Curious as to who uses MBC's & if they have any knowledge about a vent hole in some designs.

I picked up a MBC & it had a pre drilled hole supposedly for a vent hole. I can't see that making any logical sense, so i filled the hole. im wondering what peoples thoughts are on that? boost would come in open the ball/spring then go straight to the wastegate. would it hold the wastegate open after it reached the present PSI & stay open because boost has no where to go? or does it have somewhere it can go? very curious as to that.

The reason the vent hole is there is to prevent boost spiking. It allows for some air to flow in and out of the casing making it for a smoother reaction of the ball.

If you see lots of spikes with your MBC, unplug the hole.
