    Dyno Predictions and suggestions

So I'm planning on selling my setup over the winter. I'm making a few calls trying to find the best deal on some dyno time so I can get some numbers on this thing for my own sake and for anyone who may be interested in purchasing my engine.

I've never owned a FWD worth putting on a dyno before so this is a first for me. I'm assuming everything should be pretty straight foward... put it in forth and floor it. right?

    Regardless, here is my setup:

GTX engine, GTX intake, GTX turbo and manifold, GT head, WEB/Corksport cams, 3 inch exhaust with no cat and 3 straight through mufflers, bar and plate FMIC, Greddy Type S BOV (worth 20+hp's), GTX ecu and a 255 fuel pump. I also have a fidanza flywheel with a stage 5 clutchmaster clutch (no springs = lighter). Completely untuned, no cam gears, no nothing but a boost controller and a black rear bumper. Boost in the 12-13psi range depending on the temps at the time.

    Predictions? bets? over/under?

96.8 or so. But that was lifting at least three times in first and twice in second with the roof rack and bike tray still on the car... Not really an accurate number.

i'm sure its not that far off... i ran a 17.0 once and my trap speed was only down like 2-3mph from a clean run.

          i'm predicting 185hp

                below 190, closer to 185ish, I'm thinking.

I trapped at 97.14 or below, and put down 173.3whp/172.5ft-lb, and this was spinning all the way through first, lifting until I could re-engage first with actual traction, and slowly getting back on it and not spinning the rest of the way. 0.939 second R/T, and 3.437 second 60-foot time.

roof rack/bike tray really have a negligible effect at this point I think.

If you had tuning done (especially with adj. cam gears, having different cams) you'd probably be 200+ whp easy.

ouch sarge... 3.4 60 foot!? lol

for those who dont know drag racing, your R/T doesnt affect your E/T at all.

Here is a link to most of the build up. I have to post up some of the "finished" product but you'll get the idea.

I went to the dyno on tuesday and it made 190 at 5500rpm with the turbo maxing out at 14.7psi(at 5500rpm) before going down hill.

If I can't sell it, I might just get some cam gears and get it properly tuned. I have a JGS mani, a 60 series T3, and a tial 38mm external wastegate that I wanted to put on it. But if I can go over 200hp safely with just a tune on the VJ20 I might just leave it.
