    How far can you push the bp26/rx7 vaf

    Well i am presently surprised at the bp26/rx7 vaf combo.
    I was figuring that i would have to do some adjusting on my safc for my 50 trim (9 psi for now) but i havent had to touch a thing, the second more than 2 psi kicks in the A/F drops to high 11's low 12's and carries there all the way to 7k.
    The part throttle fuel economy is great as well.
    how far has anyone pushed this combo? I know the 330's ive got now wont keep up past much more boost, and i havent logged the maf voltage yet, but im tempted to push it further

    I'm at 95% injector duty with 12 psi on the stock gtx injectors

      330s + EGT FPR + VJ20 will max at 1.3bar.

        hmm if the vj20 maxes at 1.3 bar, i probably shouldnt mess around to much with the boost and should grab some 440's + then.

        I love the part throttle driveability with the ecu , and im only running 8* of timing, im waiting on a cooler day to bump it up to 10*, since the day i did the majority of the logging/"tuning" on was 100 degrees +

          Um, the VJ20 hits peak efficiency at about 1 bar, but my wastegate actuator failed and allowed the turbo to hit 1.3 before the injectors started cutting out.

          I'm not exactly sure how much of my experience would apply to your situation, as I have a standalone and past 1 bar my maps are super rich :o

              I made 250+whp reliably on an SAFC, GTR turbo, 460cc injectors, RX7 VAF and BP26ECU

                        Hmm, i wonder how big of an injector i could run with the safc2/bp26/rx7 vaf combo.
                        I see rc 550's on ebay all the time. I read in an old post that messing with the safc also adjusts timing? I thought that only pertained to map sensor type cars.
                        Any new info on this?

                          yes messing with the safc will affect your timing. you have to understand how the speed density engine control model works to understand why ...

                          550ccs will support up to 350whp ... however I would not use an SAFC to control them
