pre turbo gives you the most useful readings, but dont leave it in all the time. eventually the probe may become damaged and get sucked through your turbine.
if you feel you must leave it in all the time, put it IMMEDIATELY after the turbine. the further you get from the engine, the less meaningful your reading becomes.Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft. Lbs. @ 23 PSI

mine is installed about 18 inches after the turbo on the downpipe. i plan to re-do it and put it closer when i do the new turbo/downpipe.Create your own VB Gallery here.

mine is about 3" from the turbo and it works great. Yes in the manifold is the best, but I leave mine in 24?7 so after the turbo is the best!
