I previously installed the S-AFC on my GTX motor but needs a dyno to tune it. It's quite expensive here in Malaysia for a dyno tune so I sold it and got a 1st gen AFC w/ 5 buttons.
Maybe you guys over there have an easier access to dyno at a cheaper price.

Originally posted by 91ProtegeLX Im thinkin of buyin another bp, then gettin it rebuilt maybe with a lil lower compression pistons, like 9.0:1 like my talon, I can get a brand new t-25 from a friend for free. id have to fbrcate it up to a custom manifold im guessing, then i can get the fuel system for relatively cheap, 430cc injectors walbro 255 lph fuel pump, afpr, and such. Id probably just run a S AFC until i can afford a haltech or another EMS. Piping, intercooler, bov. I can get a sparco fmic from a friend also, the bov, probably a turboxs or something. and piping, id just fab up my own. Does that sound doeable????
Originally posted by SpoolinPro93 Yeah that sounds doable to me. The BP comes with 9:1 compression pistons stock, so you wouldn't have to worry about lowering it.
He was talking about putting a turbo on his existing motor. Which is the NA BP. It has 9:1 compression pistons.
Originally posted by B8 Turbo Yes u r correct. However, I don wanna pull u guys down but I thought this is a Forced induction section so I only talk about GTX & GTR.
im not forced yet, i was just sayin that cuz the guy doin the askin was talkin bout an n/a engine i thought... maybe i read it wrong tho... eh.... oh well.. lol
