    gtx ecu ?s.

I'm gathering up my parts for Turbo install. Have CT26 Turbo and external gate. Homemade 4-1 manifold, 440cc injectors, fmic and a greddy bov.

My questions are: do I need to use different vaf for the gtx ecu on NA harness?
How does the ecu see boost?

Edit: what is best vaf for gtx ecu? Which flows best?

get a b code vaf it will be better than the stock vaf if your useing a stock ecu it doesnt see boost if your useing a gtx ecu or the bp26 ecu i have no idea how it see's boost but you might wana try the search button

I did search. Read all the stickies too. There is no map sensor. How does the e u have boost cut if it has no way of giving the pcm a vacuum or boost reference?

What I was looking for were cfm of vaf meters or similar specs.

it makes a reference from the VAF, i dont think anyone know at what CFM it hits it since we have other options than just the stock ecu when it comes time that we are pushing that much boost

So it references the vaf. I'm confused. How does it take signal from a voltage sweep and convert that to boost? Especially when the meter is pre Turbo?

Vaf cfm is a separate question.

well just imagine how does the boost light on the gtx dash works? as soon as my ecu sees 2 psi of boost it loghts up, it doesnt matter full throule or not...so how it blinks the light if there is no way to read boost!

it uses the vaf, the boost light wouldnt be right unless you were using a gtx vaf.

The ECU doesn't care about boost or PSI - it only knows CFM measurement via the VAF. Combine that with an RPM reading and the VE of the engine and it can calculate what kind of boost the engine is seeing. Even still, as far as fueling goes, it doesnt really care about boost. It sees X CFM, X RPM, X TPS, then calc's X amount of fuel to inject. (very simplified but you get the idea)

That is exactly what I wanted.

Manipulation of the Vaf not only affects afrs but the cfm the ecu sees and also the "boost" it sees.

It affects afr buy tricking the ecu as to amount of air it sees.

                      RX7 B code Vaf & injectors (460cc) accordingly

idk what 440cc injectors your talking about. but its a poor match to a BP26 ECU i can tell you that.
