question on the fuel system in regards to boost

I've been hearing conflicting information about what to get for the fuel system. Mainly regarding the need for an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

First off, my goal for the car is around 230 horsepower. The engine is from an EGT and does have (though not installed yet) the MBSP.

So my question is mainly.. do I need to do any upgrading to the fuel rail/FPR. Is there a need for an adjustable FPR if I am going to be using megasquirt?

I was told conflicting information.. some tell me that it's needed, and others tell me that it's not.. that the stock fuel rail/fpr is fine as long as you have proper injectors, fuel pump, and engine management.

    Thanks everyone!!!

no need for a AFPR if your using megasquirt and bigger injectors

if your using stock injectors and MS (not recommended for those power levels) then you would need a AFPR

stock fuel rail will handle 300+ hp

turbo II... i can't remember if there the primery or secondarys... they are a burgandy red and each 13b only carries 2... so you would need 2 donor cars. look on ebay too.

1600s are probably way too much for what you're doing. Try to find the 440s that were mentioned previously.

The red top 460cc rx7 non-turbo injectors(denso part number 199550-2010) are plug and play with the bg harness and can be found in 1 car. Secondary injectors are a pain in the ass to get to but they're the same

You made 300whp on 440cc injectors? That is impressive. My RX-7 injectors were maxed out at around 270whp.
