    Going lean into boost

So first off I'm running a bp26 ecu, y code vaf, and F2T injectors, stock fuel pump, vj20, ungraded FMIC, turbosmart BOV (VTA), and a CS downpipe.

At idle I'm usually around 14-15, crusing it varies a lot, but when I go into boost I lean out and go high 13's to high 14's. Naturally I let off because I'm lean so Idk if it gets worse than that. The stock VAF hadn't been touched before I got it, I was told to turn it 2 clicks CCW and it didn't help the issue either. also, if I ease into boost it doesn't cut at all, but if I mat it to the floor I get fuel cut (i think? its just a really hard cut, idk how to describe it)
My timing is at 14* too.
I'm going nuts figuring this out.

well I've got the exact same setup as you basically minus I have a BP fuel pump, and my afrs are mid 12s in boost without issues. Running b6t/bpt NGK plugs at stock gap on 91 octane. I only get fuel cut when it spikes to 17psi, which is often it seems lol

I'm positive it's my fuel pump now. I messed with the VAF and now when i slowly easy into boost its steady in the low 12's. so now I need to get a Walbro and an install kit. there's so many, I need to find out which one I need.

used to have the same issue, I had to disable my o2 sensor to get it to stop.

Grab your self a Walbro 255lph, the stock one is good for 103hp or something like that lol
When you say stock fuel pump, is it the LX or DX?
Anyone knows what 9K rpm feels like? I do

you need to run your stock o2 sensor as well as the wideband, not just the wideband in place of it, or the car will run like **** lol

try that instead of getting a fuel pump, i bet that will help

                      lol, you did something wrong.

I've got the narrowband output wired into the GTR ecu and it works just fine. Innovate's widebands seem to be extra-particular about how they're wired, especially compared to ones from AEM and Zeitronix...

I wired it to the o2 wire according to the FSM and the wideband went absolutely ****ing crazy. It would go from fine to 22.4 then to like 10.1 I clipped the wire and it went back to normal. also, If I slowly ease into boost my afr's are good so I'm betting that it's the fuel pump not being able to keep up.

I had the same problem, i had the GTX ecu and a U code vaf with a 255lph fuel pump. i put in a B code vaf and tuned it a lil bit and it was all good. 14-15 at idle and crusing. 11.5 in boost. but since you have the Y code idk if that would fix your problem. i would for sure get a bigger fuel pump and see if that fixes it.

thats the plan. I'm getting one this weekend. I'll install that and tweak the vaf and see what I get.
PS. anyone know what else I need besides the actual walbro?

I make it a habit of buying a new lock ring and gasket any time I have the fuel pump out. did you buy the install kit or just the pump?
