Mazda gt-x vj-20 information needed asap

Hello i have a few questions that i know somone in here can help me with. I have the mazda BP-t gtx swap in my escort gt, I have been using it as a daill driver for almost 2 years. Recently my turbo finally gave out.

I need a rebuild kit or a new turbo all together, the old vj-20 can be rebuilt without problems but id rather just a whole new one, I was told for the rebuild kit and IHI RH5b will work is this true.? does that go the same for a new turbo/ ive been looking online and came across this turbo on ebay.....

can somone onfirm wheather or not this is the same turbo? i need some help, the gasket and everything appears to look the same but it says its for an isuzu or somthing.

if that is not the right one could somone point me in the right direction, also is there any other turbo that will bolt right up perfetly with no extra modifications/

i also had another question about my blow off valve, it is currently blowing off into the atmosphere which makes it stall somtimes because all of the measured air is leaving and not going into the motor, i was told that it was better to re-direct the blow off air back into my intake after the maf sensor or somthing, is this a good idea?

thank you in advance for the help everyone

You recirculate the bov to the pipe between the vaf and turbo

The RHB5 center sections are all basically the same, that's why you can use a rebuild kit from a VJ11 on a VJ20 and make all manner of hybrids.

That's turbo is definitely not the same, the it looks closer of one of the VFs than a VJ20.

There aren't any turbos that will bolt up without modification, with slight modification you can use some of the VF turbos (-10/11/12) or a VJ11. At that point though you're better off with an adapter plate and a T3-based turbo.

As for the BOV, you can either recirculate it like people say, or you can remove the throttle body damper.

So the best bet for me would be a rebuild kit from any rhb5 ihi? So would everything from the kit work or is it just for the center sections you mentioned? Also in your opinion is it better to re circulate or remove the throttle body damper?

Also if you remove it, won't the throttle plate just slam shut fast making it stall still?

My VJ20 recently gave out, I bought a VJ11 for cheap and used its center section. You can leave the hot side bolted to the manifold if you're careful. That way you don't need new exhaust gaskets. Coolant lines are a bit different, but easily adapted.

If you remove the throttle damper, the BOV vacuum leak will lessen, as less air will be sucked in. I had to spray some WD-40 in mine today, as it was getting slow, and stalling. That fixed the problem.
