Well it's been 6 months since I've driven the thing. The kl swap is almost complete, but the rad leaks now, so... I'll have to pull the motor to replace the radiator, and I need a set of cusco front plates to finish the new coilovers, since the ones I got in the trade for the ksports are bent to ****...

I'm selling the m90 setup, and buying a t3t4 kl setup as well as 550's and megasquirt, then it is just piddily Ass **** to get it on the road again.

I do blame the sphericals for forcing me to swap in a kl though! Starved the oil pickup on the 2 liter swap and spun a rod bearing doing 80 on a four leaf clover style highway interchange!

      Feels good....

In the box still, lol! Damn, it's been a year already? I gotta stop stockpiling parts and start working on it again.

Mine are also still in the box. I need to find a set of MX3 bushings brackets still.

And re-visit the install guide. I forget where the offset portion was supposed to be facing.

face outwards pushing the LCA out/forward.
The brackets can come from either Mx3/ later BG protege - either or so long as they are the larger size.

By later BG Protege, you mean 2nd gens? Or like 93-94 area?

Okay, It's been a month and a week since I started driving it again... I'm at 69,000 miles now, so just shy of 9000 miles on these bushings. Still love them. Car still grips corners hard, even with twice the power it used to have! I still have yet to get a professional alignment on this thing. I did it by eye in the garage, and it tracks straight as an arrow, and there is no funny tire wear, so I may just leave it as is.

It feels great in the corners. The KLDE was the extra motivation this car needed for cornering. Haven't really beat on it yet, since it's my only driver currently, but I do have some corners I hit pretty spiritedly on the way to/from work every day, and it feels good.

At the Dragstrip, the only pass I've made so far, there was still quite a bit of wheel hop in first, as it spun hard. I need to make a clean pass at some point. But these are not the product to completely kill wheel hop, and I knew that from the beginning. I will say that it was less extreme than the wheel hop from the supercharged Escort.

Also, I do have a clunk somewhere in the left front suspension, but I'm pretty sure it is unrelated to the bushings. I'll report back when I figure it out.

Anyway, I still love the heck out of them.
