The 240Z is fast as hell. My best friend has a 240Z, 280Z, and a Spec V. His 240Z is faster than his 280Z.. ya the 280Z is turbocharged. I think he said the only thing done to the 240Z is new cams. And last time he ran his 280Z, he was hitting 14.8 in a quarter. Thats with a bad hesitation. So he estimates the 240Z somewhere in the high 13's or low 14's. Honestly, can the cam make that much of a difference? My impression is it would give anywhere from 10 hp. And my other friend Rob has the 240Z as well and its dead stock. I think he was running 15's. Well back to you thinking about getting the car... get it! It's fast as hell from my impression, even with a few bolt-ons.

i have the video for darius' z omg its awesome, i love the sound and everything. i've always liked the early z cars.

If you look on ebay there seem to be a lot of crazy fast supras and rx7's for under 10 grand. Why are they so cheap, and if they are so cheap why do we bother with tuning our econoboxes and not get an already built 12 second car? There's something amiss here....

I don't remember ever seeing a modded Supra or RX7 for under $10k... if you have seen one let me know so I can buy it and stop modding this piece of crap. :p:
